John ‘Marcus” Heim, D.O., is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist with more than 35 years of experience. He is affiliated with The Orthopedic Center at Freeman. He earned his medical degree from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internship and residency at Des Peres Hospital (St. Lukes) in St. Louis, MO.

Dr. Heim sees patients of all ages, including children, with all types of orthopedic problems. He treats orthopedic issues throughout the body, including joint problems, fractures and osteoporosis as well as hand and foot surgery. He also performs significant Worker’s Comp work, including impairment ratings.
